This is a Red Alert!

With heart disease and stroke being the number one killer of women world wide, it is vitally important that all women and their loved ones recongnise the warning signs of heart attack and stroke. (Click for the Facts)

In an effort to raise awareness the Heart & Stroke Foundaiton of Barbados hosted a "Red Dress Event" and fund-raiser.

The event which took place at the Barbados Concorde Experience on February 25th included access to the Concorde Experience exhibit, cocktails, canapés and valet parking. The "Red Dress" event was intended to raise awareness and provide the foundation with much needed funding to continue its fight against heart disease and stroke.

The proceeds from ticket sales at $100 each will be used by the Foundation in its many programs that fight heart and stroke disease.
