person to hold the position since the body was formed, as the Heart

Vice President Financial Services - Mr. H. (Dru) Symmonds
has been dynamically involved in this organization’s successful development
since its inception. Whilst the Chairman of the ‘Health and Social Services
Committee’ of the Lions Club of Barbados South in 1984, it was he who
instigated the creation of the Heart Foundation of Barbados Inc., as a
project of his club.

Lt. Col. V. Owen Springer - has been a member of the
Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados Board since 1994 serving as secretary to
the Board for eight years, as Vice President 2002 to 2006, Vice President
Financial Services 2006 to 2009 and was elected as a director in 2009.

In memory of Mr. Adrian Randal Adrian Randal was a past Chief Executive
Officer of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados. Mr. Randall, a Barbadian citizen,
held senior positions in several leading organisations in the United Kingdom.
Nationally recognised in the United Kingdom as a leading expert on charity
financial matters, Mr. Randall moved into the charity world in early 1987 with
the Cancer Research Campaign. In 1988 he founded the Charity Finance Directors’
Group in the UK and was its Chairman until 1992. He held the post of Vice President of the foundation up to his passing in March 2012. May he rest in peace.
