ECC Medical Director - Dr. Anne-Marie Cruickshank entered the University of the West Indies, and graduated in 1992 with a MBBS ( Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery). She did her post graduate studies at the Cave Hill Campus and in 1997 received her M. Sc. ( Master of Science) specializing in Emergency Medicine, followed by a DM (Doctorate of Medicine) also in Emergency Medicine.
Her association with the Heart Foundation of Barbados started in 1993 when she did the Basic Rescuer course. She became a Basic Rescuer Instructor in 2000, and in 2003 did the PALS provider course in the USA.
