Fine fare at fish supper
The final event of Barbados Heart & Stroke
Week was a Fish Supper, which was held at the Heart & Stroke
Foundation’s headquarters on Jemmotts Lane on Saturday October
6, beginning at 6 p.m.
The open-air event on a fine, cool evening
saw a good turnout of Foundation staff, members and friends, who
thoroughly enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes. After supper,
Karaoke entertainment was on hand to keep the atmosphere light
and festive.
The event was organized by the CDP&R
department, with able assistance from Administration and
Fundraising Manager, Jennifer Randall, as their contribution to
the Week, also as a source of fundraising. A heartfelt thank you
goes out to the many staff and friends who pitched in and
helped, and especially to CDP&R clients Victor James, Charles
Brathwaite and Ambrose Francis who played a big hand in the
organizing and preparation of the supper.
