Mr. David Neilands
Mr. Neilands is a former British Foreign Service Officer and Advertising Executive. He joined Super Centre Ltd as Marketing Manager in 1985. He became the driving force for many enterprising initiatives including the conceptualization of the long running “Run for your Money” TV Programme. He was appointed Marketing Director of The Company in 1993 and Managing Director in 2001 a post he held until his retirement in 2013.

He presently sits on a number of Boards including the NCD Commission, The National Initiative for Service Excellence (NISE), The Task Force for Built Heritage, The Barbados Sugar Industries Ltd and was a past Senior Vice President of The Barbados Chamber of Commerce.

For many years he was an active member of the renowned Green Room theatre, was a committee member for the management of Stage One theatre, and is the present Chairman of the Earl Warner Trust. He recently was Associate Producer of the reality TV Show “Bank on Me” produced by Blue Waters Productions.

He is married to the former Rosemary Wilkinson known for her contribution to dance as a former dancer, choreographer and Artistic Director of the Barbados Dance Theatre. Rosemary and David are presently engaged with the formation of a new theatrical experience entitled “The Gap Theatre” which has already mounted four original Works in the last two years. They have two sons Samuel and Nicholas who both live and work in Barbados.
